, with Ali Reynolds as the protagonist, takes off running and doesn't stop 'til the last page.
S
tay-at-home mom Morgan Forester is discovered by her young twin daughters beaten to death. If that weren't bad enough, the girls' father is suspected of taking a hammer to his wife's head. Morgan had not been inclined to be faithful and logged onto a website that relished the idea of married men and women kicking up their heels. Did Morgan pay the price for her heel-kicking?
A
li feels that Morgan's husband cannot possibly be guilty of his wife's murder and decides to help prove her contention.
C
ruel Intent
has a good, workable plot with characters that are fleshed out – real. Sedona, Arizona comes alive under Jance's computer keys. All in all, a good mystery with which to curl up. Just keep the doors locked and phone close to hand.
