Sophie is a flippant extrovert to the world, but inside she is scared – not that she'd ever share that with Mr. Puglisi.

econdary characters include Kenny Fade, the school's God of Basket Ball; Lake a former cheerleader who is now in a wheelchair; and Sophie's brother O.S. - she'd throw herself in front of a truck to protect him.
