What follows for Kirk and Browne is an investigation that takes them and the reader into the murky world of high-end art forgery and the international global auction business. Although Browne may be outside her comfort zone, Kirk is not only very comfortable but he may also seize the opportunity to settle a few old scores, but, alas, that can be a two-way street as you'll see once into this riveting thriller.
