Poetweets from Woodland Canada - Fall Glory By Hilary Williamson (November 2017)
Seasonal verses (that I dub poetweets in this age of universal attention deficit) - Winter Blues, Spring in the Air, Summer Frolics and Fall Glory - written for fun and also in honour of Canada's 150th birthday this year:
Hues on high Paint the sky
Gold leaves blow Down below
Paddles break The mirror lake
Squirrels busy Life's a tizzy
Beavers chew Their lodge renew
Geese on the move, In a 'V' groove
Time to prepare Like the brown bear
Time to get warm Before the storm
It's not too late To hibernate
To light a blaze, To sit and gaze
Winter is coming ...
