I have been an avid reader my entire life. When I was in the first grade, my mom talked to the teacher and it was decided I couldn't check out books with less than a hundred pages. So I made it my goal to read every single book in the school library, starting with authors with last names beginning with "A" That goal exposed me to many different authors and genres of books and instilled a love for reading that has lasted my whole life.
Often I have wanted to share with others books that I am particularly passionate about, but I hadn't been able to find readers as "into" reading as I am. That's when I discovered reviewing. It has opened up doors to let me shout my praises and criticisms of books for other readers to see. My favorite genres are contemporary fiction, romance, mysteries, and Christian fiction. I do read from other genres as well, as I like some balance to my reading diet.
I live in Washington state. I'm married to a wonderful man, LeeRoy (who also loves to read.) I quit working as a clinical dietitian six years ago to become a stay-at-home wife and mom and I love my job now more than anything in the world. I am the proud mom of a 20-year-old stepdaughter, a 7-year-old son, and a 6-year-old daughter.
