Lisa Respers France is a writer and editor in New York City. A former newspaper journalist with The Los Angeles Times and The Baltimore Sun, she has written about everything from hip hop to food and her work has appeared in national publications such as Time Magazine and The Source. Her short fiction appears in the anthology, Baltimore Noir (Akashic Books, 2006).
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she is a life long bibliophile, a Law & Order addict and the proud wife of her biggest fan.
